Meet Our Staff
Cornelius House is run by the Care Home Manager, Miss Pam Venus in conjunction with the owner, Mr John Kellas. Local to Chichester, Pam is qualified in Business Management for Carers (NVQ4) and holds the Registered Managers' Award. She has worked at Cornelius House for over twenty years, and is well known and loved by residents, families and staff alike.
Theresa May as Assistant Manager, supports Pam in all areas and is currently studying for her NVQ4.
Jill Clayton is the Administration Manager who keeps the wheels turning, supports all our initiatives and activities and is the first port of call for any queries on a daily basis.
Andrew Burt is our maintenance Manager and he knows Cornelius House inside out. Andrew has been responsible for overall maintenance since 1996. So whether you need a plug changed or the carpet cleaned, a lift to the doctors or a picture hung, Andrew is always on hand to help.
Bernard Wallsgrove is responsible for keeping the grounds looking immaculate, and for procurement. He is the one who sources the best local produce at the best price.
Jeanette Salisbury is our Head Cook and has been with the House for over 15 years. Each week in consultation with staff and residents, she plans nutritionally balanced menus, runs the kitchen - and cooks the best cakes in the county.
